Lindsey Hinson

Lindsey finds comfort in Psalm 23:1-6:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His Name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

These verses remind her of how the Lord cares for us like a shepherd cares for his sheep. It is such a sweet reminder of how He lovingly provides for all of our needs, never abandons us in trials, and gives us hope of eternity with Him. She often comes back to these verses when struggling and needing to refocus her eyes on the Good Shepherd.

Lindsey's favorite outdoor activity is hiking. She loves exploring new trails and challenging herself with harder hikes. The bigger the mountain, the better! It has also been a great way for her to get away from the distractions of life and get alone with God.

Pamela Ahn

Pamela finds strength in Joshua 24:15:

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, of the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.

The last sentence of this verse serves as a daily reminder for her whole family that in all they do, they do it in the desire to serve the Lord.

Pamela and her husband have an active little family. They love taking daily walks, hiking, and discovering beautiful nature trails. Pamela and her daughter are novices at Equestrian so they love spending time at the barn with horses and ponies. As a family they veer heavy on summer sports so they love kayaking, paddle boarding, and their kids are learning how to surf this summer.
